To ensure that there are no regrets later, one should take some time to identify the kind of house design they really want. Check for features that interest you from different houses which are already built and later combine them to come up with your design.

Have a list of the features you desire. Start with the most basic such as the number of rooms, and then you can go into details about specific designs of each room. What you come up with should be what you can afford. This will ensure there is no running out of money before the house is complete.

Make sure that the house design has a logical flow such as the kitchen next to the dining room and away from the toilet. The sun and window placement is also an important consideration. Windows placed in the direction of the rising sun ensures the house is bright and saves on energy as well.
